In the title compound, [PtCl(C(34)H(33)P(3))]PF(6), the Pt(II) cation adopts a distorted square-planar PtClP(3) geometry, arising from the P,P',P''-tridentate triphos ligand and a chloride ion. Four of the F atoms of the PF(6) (-) anion are disordered over two sets of positions in a 0.614 (17):0.386 (17) ratio.
